Triadic Trust
Trust has more than one witness.

Lineage, correctness and faithfulness answer different questions. Inspect each independently before reading them together.

No single witness
answers everything.

Select each leg to inspect its contribution and its limit. These controls choose an explanation; they do not confer a pass.

Three legs, one inspectable claim

Does the structure honour the declaration?

Inspect the specification, implementation boundaries and declared commitments. A digest alone cannot answer this question.

Conceptual trust architecture. Selecting a leg does not validate a claim or certify an artifact.

01

Lineage: follow the record.

Cryptographic commitments make a record's integrity and lineage inspectable. They do not, alone, establish the quality of its underlying observations.

02

Correctness: reproduce the result.

Published inputs and an explicit method allow an independent party to reproduce a result. Matching output is a narrower claim than validating every scientific prediction.

03

Faithfulness: inspect the structure.

Compare the implementation and its declared boundaries to the specification. Structural agreement is not interchangeable with a hash match or an on-chain record.
